Ron Winger, is the man resposible for enabling us to have the channel #Woodworking on the IRC Chat. Ron maintains an excelent level of channel etiquette which makes it a pleasureful time chatting with people who share the same interests of woodworking. On Friday night we each take a turn host what we call "Friday Night Trivia". The host posts a question to the rest of the users on the channel and the first one to answer the question recieves points. Although there is no prizes for the trivia night you do get the bragging rights. Think there are only so many questions you could ask about woodworking, stop by the cahnnel on friday nights and see. It amazes me at how many questions can arise on just one subject in particular.
I chat with Ron quite regularly, he calls me his neighbor as I am located in Saskatchewan and he is in Wyoming. That is a very short distance in comparision to where some of the subscribers are from that are on the mailing list or visit the chat room.
